This is the no-diggity, no doubt, fo shizzle my nizzle.
I hope this new style of service spreads, it will make educating the customer so much easier.
It interesting because it makes total sense. I can't believe this hasn't been done sooner to be honest with you. In a salon or when working closely with a really detailed sales person, you get the opportunity to tell them about yourself. I buy suits from time to time and they are not something I just want to touch or feel. Usually there are so many options as well so it makes sense to have someone "tailor" my experience. I don't want to try every single suit on I know my body type and explain it very well. I also know when someone gets what I'm saying by bringing me items that fit within those discriptions. Usually your going to get the skinny on what's new in materials and how they wear as well if your sales associate is knowledgeable. It's not over service if it makes sense. At this point we all know how to read a customer and whether or not they want to chat.
This way we can talk about the exact height of the heal, cuff or no cuff, sleeve length etc.
Within my capabilities that has always been how I match the customer to the beverage. If you think about it, they really have so many other options for their time, thoughts and money and given those pulls we only have a few opportunities to prove we are the best fit for their coffee needs. There are always going to be free pastries offered somewhere else or $2 drinks, or double punch card days, even this morning in a heavy construction area I saw a struggling drive thru with a Triple Punch Wednesday sign at the window. New customers are guaranteed but whether or not they stay is based on so many factors. If I feel my dollar is well spent, the barista was knowledgeable and engaging then i'll be back. It's that simple.
This Inteli site is doing something that really needs to be done. I can't wait to learn and grow based on the feedback from it. I'm actually very anxious to hear more so keep posting.
I'm so excited and honored to see that this concept will be welcomed by fellow professionals in the game. It drives me to only work harder to represent the amazing people that I have come to know through this skill/science/art to the fullest. I promise I'll do everything in my power not to let y'all down!!!
