Today I am enjoying a very nice organic Sumatra from Salt Lake Roasting Company in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Coffee always tastes better when on vacation.

All the best,

A Ginormous, Huge-antic, iced mocha with very dense micro-foam on top. I had a chocolate craving today, and I really think this is the way they ought to be.
ethiopia sidamo from atomic cafe

The la Guatusa lot has really impressed me as well.

You should stop by some time. One of the bennies to brewing by the cup is that I get to try everything.

My job is tasting coffee and playing with espresso.

* sigh

This morning had a pour over metal filter of the newest Sidamo from Stumptown. It's incredible, tastes like toasted marshmallows!
I am enjoying a macchiato with espresso from Spella Caffe'.
It features a Brasil from Monte Carmelo with great chocolate notes nicely offset by the fruity nuances of a Yirg....Yum!

Hey Steve:
Did you get my message yesterday? Any luck obtaining the s.s. basket and dispersion "disk" for the Wilbur-Curtis D-500 from P.R., or did you never quite make it there?

We just got in a Guatemala Nahuala from the 'Footers today. I actually cupped it a few weeks ago, and was excited when it was on the order.
Lemme tell you... the best french press I have ever had. Bar none. Hands down. I'll be in the Lab tomorrow on the G/B trying it out as a spro... muahahahaha.
A wonderful Tanzanian Peaberry from Shadrach Meshack & Abeantogo out of Michigan. Very nice. They sent me a few samples last week & all where wonderful. I've only done the Tanzanian on a simple drip machine but I'll probably try some later with the Vacuum press & maybe some on the frech press.
