All right, gotta ask.........what is the pay like ?

Given that it will cost a fortune to rent an apartment, that is unless I want to share one with 19 other people

Its a good question! Accomodation here can be steep. I have a good apartment in Sai Ying Pun, around 12 minutes walk to the cafe. It has great views of the peak plus a view of sorts of Victoria Habor- costs HK$13,000 (US$1700) a month- studio only of course. For an expatriate hire we of course pay the apartment as part of the deal.

Salary is negotiable but between HK$20k to HK$28k depending on experience etc. (US$2800 to US$3600). Tax free plus employer contributions to MPF (Retirement fund)

20 - 28 k per month ?

What kind of hours are we talking about ?

I work 96 hours a week...but of course not expecting my managers to do anywhere near that...but i think 50 is about where most of my other managers are placed. Being a breakfast-brunch-lunch focused business, its ideal for a guy or girl who wants to be able to enjoy the varied nightlife HK has to offer as there isnt much evening work
