no-foam customers (GRRR...)

Posted on April 11, 2008 at 1:41pm 17 Comments

I am curious to see how all of you handle customers asking for no-foam. I just cringe every time I get that in an order, but I don't want to insult customers - What is your advice?

2nd question, is it necessary to rinse your portafilter after every use? I thought it was, but one of my coworkers disagrees. She thinks that the small amount of grinds left in the bottom and around the edges doesn't make a difference in taste or quality. Again, I disagree.

Thanks for your input!

Fair Trade Paper - cuz you asked

I am writing an essay on the fairtrade movement...I am learning so much! I would love to hear the thoughts of those directly involved in the movement, whether you are part of and NGO, retailer, buyer, or producer!

Hope to hear from anyone...

hey! Thanks for the comments on my blog. I've sent you a few papers you may find interesting about fair trade, hope you don't mind. They were useful for bits of my project, some are a bit heavy-going but the main points are good. let me know what you think!
