if anyone has any of the big neat jute bags beans come in to a roastery, i'd be interested in buying some(alot) of them from you! (shipping may get costly though- if shipping to maryland is gonna cost an arm and a leg, i don't think i can do that...)
i'll post pictures later, but i've been using them to make neat messenger bags to sell at my shop, and since we do not roast at my shop, and our roaster is fairly small, i'm out scouting for new bags---
thanks alot!

You can buy them brand new in Indonesia for about US$2 each... not sure though aboiut shipping all the way to Maryland! Probably a roaster Stateside can spot you some used bags
Being a roastery-- we have an endless supply of empty used bags. Perhaps we could work out a trade to cover costs. Unfortunately, we are in California. UPS ground shouln't be much tho. I would love to see your messenger bags. How much do you sell them for?
What's a jute bag?

Does anyone know of a good web link to a site where one may order 1/2 lb, 1 lb/ and 5 lb environmentally sensitive bags that can really preserve freshness of the beans inside?

i uploaded some pics- i've been using one for about 2 months now, and it has held up amazingly well, i fill that baby with everything i can fit in it, and the seams are fine!
i do not have a pic of one with the strap, but i can upload one asap, i macrame a strap from jute rope, so the same material carries across.
the bags vary a little in size, i try to fit as much of the pattern on the flap as possible, but they hang around 12x9".
i usually sell them for $39.95
i would LOVE to work out a trade!
