If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
i've been a barista for 10 years. During that time, i've learned a lot about the industry, as well as myself as a barista. I've come to perfect both my skill and technique and have grown with the industry.
i am : a socialist, a college graduate with a double bachelors, a spanish citizen, an american citizen, a world traveler, a taskmaster, and tons of fun to work with...and be around.
About My Company:
my coffee shop, the ugly mug cafe (of ypsilanti) has been around since 2004 and is probably one of the most easy going, down to earth, goal oriented and innovative, cafes in the area. we rock, we roll, and we serve a mean cup. our baristas pride themselves on their bar abilities and knowledge about coffee and the industry -- which makes for an interesting (and often enlightening) time any given time or day of the week.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
growth -- and the free flowing accessibility to knowledge.
hey there! we get content for barista magazine from a ton of different people. i try to make sure everyone who writes for barista mag actually works in the coffee industry -- that's my only requirement. are you interested in writing for us? if so, i'd love to hear your ideas -- shoot me a line at email@example.com. thanks!!
