What is your position in the coffee industry?: coffee enthusiast

Where are you located? ( City and Country ): Oklahoma City, OK

How many years have you been in the industry?: 3

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?: yes

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills and what you can offer in regards to an exchange.: I'm fairly new to this world of coffee, but I'm doing my homework. Most recently I spent a week in Portland with the American Barista and Coffee School gang and I'm still in counseling for that.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?: Ethiopia, Brazil, Iceland (has nothing to do with coffee, but it doesn't say it has to be a coffee country.) :D

About Me:: I'm a professional musician and have been for the last 8+ years....so I travel a lot and I'm quite familiar with 48 of the 50 states and 16 countries. I'm looking for an excuse to cross off #49 (Maine) and #50 (Alaska)

Travels...

I'm sitting here in my hotel room in Kampala, Uganda and I can't quite come to terms with the fact that I'm actually here. The sound of croaking frogs covers up any noise from the city down the hill from us. We went about 30 mins. outside of the city to an orphanage/school called "Watoto" today and it was an utterly overwhelming place to see.
