I have just purchased the first of the equipment in anticipation of opening a little cart in the future. This first equipment will be used to practice with for the next year or so. I was considering getting a Silvia to play with but wanted something that I could take to a get together and crank out a few drinks. I Ran across a mint condition Astoria Compact CKXE for a good price and purchased it. I also got a Macap MK grinder in good condition but could use a cleaning.

I also ordered a flojet BW 4000 (replacement for the BW 1000) and a tds tester, I will pick up some hardness tester strips as well asap. I got a 20 oz steaming pitcher, knock box, Tamper, Shot glasses, and towel from espresso parts.

I will be using a large 5 gallon water bottle for it, still don't have everything nailed down with the water.  Am I missing any major items right now or can I pretty well get started with this? I hear crystal geyser water is good to use, still trying to find some around me.

Also, I will need to order the coffee as we don't have a local roaster. What is a good place to order from for a starter like myself. Bear in mind I will likely ruin the first few pounds anyway hehe.

Any tips or info would be most welcome!
