Hey all,

Me and my friend/roaster/fellow barista have been discussing getting some better mugs around our shop, specifically with latte art in mind.  We have a couple CremaWare 6.5oz cappuccino mugs that we like well enough, but we're looking for some good 10-12oz mugs for standard lattes.

I'm looking for the classic bowl-shaped latte mugs, but haven't had much luck finding them online.

Any suggestions?  Anyone prefer a different cup shape for pouring latte art?

I'm looking for the same thing. Interested to hear what people say. Looking for a cost effective solution for a 6oz and 10oz cup.

We have 12 oz mugs that are both mugs and the bowls.

I prefer the bowls (but we usually keep those specifically for capps) it's easier to get a wider design (although I can only make a heart)....

I've managed a heart in a tall 20 cup. It's kind of harder to do because it will want to settle as you pour, but if you king of pour in a circle motion around the sides of the cup to about halfway then focus on the actual art, it makes it so much easier.
We bought some footed latte bowls (16 oz) and cups for capps, maccs, and lattes. They hold up pretty well and are affordable. Personally, I prefer the selection at EP, but on a budge the World Market stuff does well for us.
