Hi
I'm from NJ and have been browsing the internet lately looking into the cafe business, mainly as a possible part time job to supplement my income. I don't think I've ever had a real espresso before, except maybe from an automatic machine. But I LOVE all coffee!!
Even though I work in NY I think I would get burned out if I worked evenings as a barista because the commute back to NJ is a pain to say the least!
Does anyone know if it's possible to get a weekend only barista job in NJ? I have no cafe/barista experience but have worked retail for many years and like dealing with the public. Would a cafe be willing to train someone just for weekends?

If your still looking we should talk. I have a shop in Northern NJ, Ridgewood Coffee Company.
Where are you in NJ? I'm in Easton, PA, on the NJ border. I'd be happy to host you if you wanted to come out and see how the shop works.
