All this talk over on Kurt's "Michigan Coffee Connection" thread about Bell's Brewery got me thinking... What are some of your favorite Michigan brews? I'll start off by saying:

Arcadia IPA
Arcadia Scotch Ale
Bell's 2 Hearted
Bell's Porter
(A little burned out on, but still worth mentioning:
Bell's Oberon)
Dark Horse Perkulator
Dark Horse Scotty Karate
Dark Horse Too Cream
Founders Centennial IPA
Founders Dirty Bastard
Jolly Pumpkin Calabaza Blanca
New Holland Cabin Fever
New Holland Dragon's Milk
New Holland Poet
Short's Bellaire Brown

That should at least get us started. I know I'm missing a TON (I'm from SW Mich, so many of the northern brewers are still foreign to me just because I haven't made my way up there yet), so give me some suggestions!

You're missing what I consider the best brewery in the state: Arbor Brewery!

I personally think Their Red Snapper is amazing,
Also Their espresso love is hands down the best coffee stout on the market.... in any state
The Tree Fort is great
Their Alt 22 is really good too.
Their Flagship Beer is the Blonde: which is really good
and their IPA is called The Sacred Cow.. it's pretty great, but I do think Bells two Hearted, and Arcadia is better (which by the way is another great Michigan beer).

If you like Oberon try their Bavarian Bliss!! It's similar in some ways, but completely different in others!

Also Their Phat Abbot

I also like the Atwater D Light, Grizzly Peak's Bitter, Frog Island Amber, and Thunder Bay Bock @ Fletcher Street

Hmm I'll have to think about it some more
This is why I wanted to start the thread. I knew there would be a bunch of breweries I had never even touched that were totally revered by some as must tries. Thanks for the input Bones.

I don't live there right now, but when i could snag some I was always up for Oberon on tap. I had some New Holland with a friend this summer and thought it to be great, too.
Backwards Bastard for sure (Founders)

Ethan drinks Keenewaw.... Yup.
Bell's Two Hearted is where its at!
