"That's awesome. (Seriously). I like the last part, which really embodies the spirit of espresso making with respect to tone, meaning, and such."

illudereludere replied to R. Justin Shepherd's discussion Shot Timing: From "on" or from moment of first drops?
"From, "On". IE, when you push the button to extract or flip the lever, or slide the slidie thing. Extraction happens when you summon the machine to makes actions to your portafilter. Thus, the process begins."

Profile Information

What is your position in the coffee industry?
barista
Where are you located? ( City and Country )
Honolulu, HI, USA
How many years have you been in the industry?
1 and a half
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
no
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My barista skills go as far as having a few people that say I am okay, but I am okay out of three others that work with me... Nevertheless, I love to learn and like to try new things. There is nothing more that makes me happy than seeing a genuinely satisfied customer. What I desire most for the store I work at is to have a welcoming and serving atmosphere while bringing the best in coffee and espresso time after time. Sounds corny, but true.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I wish not to travel at this point. I have other goals in mind, at the moment.
About Me:
I am boring. Coffee stains your teeth.
About My Company:
I'm still learning about my company, the people I work for, etc.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
You can never make the same drink twice.
