My husband and I run the cafe, and I run barista station several times a week. I train the baristas at our cafe. I am comfortable on my Nuovo Simonelli and can make drinks I am proud to serve. I am using latte art pretty consistently now.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Kenya, because of the great coffee, also missionaries we know & support there. We support a church with an orphanage in Kissee, Kenya.
About Me:
I am a clinical therapist, ordained pastor, turned coffee retailer/entrepeneur. I love the coffee business and the wonderfully nice people I have met. I really enjoy interacting with my customers and the joy I can bring them at our shop, Barbaric Bean Coffee Roasters with our great drinks. I love hearing a customer say: "This is the best cappuccino I have ever had in my life."
About My Company:
Barbaric Bean Coffee Roasters has been incorporated for nearly 6 years and we have had our cafe since 2008 in Ocean Grove, a beach community. We roast our coffee onsite in small batches from the finest Arabica beans. We have a new web site with e-commerce and online coffee retailing.

Barbaric Bean Featured Chefs... Imagine That!!

Today we took our stuff on the road and travelled to Short Hills, New Jersey, where Barbaric Bean Coffee Roasters were the featured chefs at the Williams-Sonoma in the Mall at Short Hills. We featured samples of our freshest Papua New Guinea, Sumatra, & 'Savage Jungle Blend' drip coffee and our fresh baked scones. I'm happy to report all were a big hit!

My husband and I began Barbaric Bean Coffee Roasters Cafe' nearly 3 years ago, after falling in love with specialty coffee and then this business and looked for a cafe' location for over 3 years.  We travelled all around the country for training, let's see: Florida twice, Seattle (SCAA), Washington, DC (Coffeefest) so we could learn and become great baristas, solid business owners, you name it.
