- Former professional journalist turned coffee roaster and coffee shop owner, dedicated to educating the public about the importance and value of origin.

- Fresh Off the Roast was founded in 2007 to sell home-roasted coffee at local farmers market. It 2009, opened Qualia Coffee, a coffee shop and storefront roasting operation that is now home to Fresh Off the Roast.
