Just about done steeping some Masala Chai, and then I'm finding my press so I can try out some McLaughlin House Blend. I'm excited! Thanks for the BXer discount, and I can't wait to try the goods!
Hi Mike,
Thanks for your thoughts on the USRC. I am feeling pretty confident about moving ahead with it. One more thing, did you go for the automation and if so would you recommend it? What other add-ons would you recommend?
Thanks again.
hey mike what size did you cut the holes for your beehouse dripper station? i was gonna make one but wasn't sure if i needed to borrow a jigsaw or if i could just drill it. thanks champ
And yes I am that guy that roasted all of a cafe's coffee on a Behmor for a while, and I still use that Behmor to roast decaf for the shop I'm at now. It's roast count went to 892 today, still no problems. These things are tanks.
I'm intrigued by the idea of coming to work for you. Let's start talks. My biggest hindrance would be finances. Moving out there, finding a place to live, etc., etc.
Hey Mike,
Thanks for the question and adding Coffee Kids. Check out the picture of the letter and he's asking people to put their bids in the comments.
Hi Mike,
I'm convinced pour over yields best drip by a mile and I've read some of your posts on this. When I open shop, I plan to only offer drip this way and am wondering if you have a grinder recommendation to handle this plus being able to interchange with bulk grinding as needed if someone orders beans. I guess a std bulk Bunn would work and it's affordable, but I'm wondering if there's a more sophisticated solution. Was thinking a stepped doserless like the Macap MC4 might work well for switching coffees and grinds. Would love to hear your take on this.
Cheers!
Hi Mike, Congrats for your puppy, it´s gorgeous! And from here the beans seem beautifuly roasted. It must be an amazing feeling roasting your own. Wish you all the best with your new venture. And you're right, go hard on your "closing" staff if they haven´t understood yet where their wages come from...
Cheers,
Flavia
hey mike!
I am totally down to meet up about a vantamp your face off. This week obviously is a little crammed, but next week any day but thursday would be great. I am there all day. I would like to cup some of your coffees some time as well, so bring some by sometime!
Love the photos of the US Roaster Corp Roaster on your website Mike... you should post some more on your profile here. I have never used one of these roasters, how do you like your baby?
