Hello,

Opening up a new shop within the next month and a half. Times are tough, so anything we can buy used (we're all about recycle and re-use anyhow) we would prefer.

We're looking for:
Espresso Grinders
Hot Water Towers
Basic Coffee Shop Supplies
Small Convection Oven
Vacuum Pot Brewers
Bulk Coffee Grinders
Cash Register!

The list could go on I'm sure. But as I said, anything we can re-use and recycle. However, equipment that is still in good condition is a must.

Just hit us up with some ideas/offers/etc. on the discussion here on Bx or email me at joeytri@yahoo.com.

Thanks!
Joey

Don't forget to do a full financial business plan!!! It is truly as important as any piece of equipment. Figure your best case scenario and worst case (new equipment cost, 25% min. Overage on anything a reputable contractor tells you and double the time they tell you) If you are more then a Kiosk or hole in the wall you better figure on all the employees, insurance, SS, taxes.... tons of gov. forms and legal crap). It's very easy for a simple dream of having a small coffee house to explode into a full scale Coffee House will food menu if you are somewhere that has been totally deprived of such a place. Our little dream... is now a community dream come true and it could very easily become our nightmare if we can't keep it in check... It just keeps getting bigger!
Don't forget to ask around for used Kitchen equipment yo can save a bundle on sinks, shelves, and other non mechanical stuff. Our local place (which I found after I order a ton of new stuff) even has stoves, toasters.... and can order pretty much anything we need.
Good luck and God be with you!
joey jo jo,
next time you're down in Sac, hit up the Restore. You can occassionally find cafe stuff, but you can always get the "random" shit (sinks, drains, etc etc) for super duper cheap.
i'll also throw some feelers out for various equipment and let you know.
tell yer daddy "hey!"
I know someone who has a stash of Mahlkonig Kenia bulk grinders. I think he is asking $700, they are $1300 or something like that new. Let me know if you are interested and I will give you his information.
youre in nevada it looks like. here in west michigan, there are a few shops that are going out of business. not that you want to take advantage of the economy, but check out craigslist here. you may get a good enough deal, including freight issues to make it worth your while. if you need me to check out anything here, let me know.
i have a really nice compak k6 barista espresso grinder, it is like new, only has had around 10lbs of coffee ground on it. email me if you are interested.
thanks,
adam

I've got a used Mazzer Super Jolly, a Mazzer Mini Jolly, and a Bunn Multi-Hopper Grinder with 2 extra hoppers, plus a Bunn ICB brewer, all at a great price if you can use any of it.
Still looking? We are closing in Tucson and have gently used everything...let me know.
Hi Jesse,
Do you know if the person you know is still selling the Kenia's?

Thanks!
