I've played with these a few times.  They have a noticable heft, and feel like a high-quality product.  They steam well, and the extended spout really lays down the ribbon of milk nicely.  I really enjoyed using it - its the only "special" pitcher I've ever come away from feeling like it was worth the premium.

 

Hey, they'll last forever if you take care of them.  I say good investment.

Yes I have the 24 oz one and the 10oz one (I cant remember what that is in ml) I love them both, and they are great for latte art. The only thing about them is that they have a slight bell shape to them, which for me makes it harder to produce the very best froth. Im not saying you cant make good froth with them, but it seems easier on a straight sided pitcher. Now all i need is the 16oz one and ill be set...

Before purchasing them you read a lot of good and bad reviews. After purchasing you ask for more reviews wondering if you wasted your money or made a great investment. Normal buyers remorse!

 

Whether you end up like using them or not either way your money won't be wasted, at the minimum an investment in continuing coffee (inc. coffee tools) education.
