Coffee Bag Suppliers recycled recyclable biodegradable

I'm looking for some suppliers of coffee bags, particularly sustainable/recyclable/biodegradable.  Do you know of any, regardless of whether you've done business with them or your opinion of them?

Also, are their directories of bag suppliers?  The results from Googling are not helpful.

Many thanks.

40% recycled, PLA (corn-based, biodegradable) liner.

The tin-tie, however, is paper-covered metal.

I've had good experiences with them. I have not tried the linked bag.
Thanks, Jason.

Any issues not using a degassing valve?

No. There is no such thing as a "green" bag that can be sealed with an air-tight seal.

At least, not that I know of. Maybe they could be made of recycled plastics and metals, but the "green" kraft options cannot.

Hello, I found this website yesterday: http://www.stockbagdepot.com/green-products/tin-tie-pla-liner/
I do not have more info. Please keep me posted if it works as I'll buy bags in a few months time.
Best. François (from vanuatu).
Thanks, François. Best of luck.
Hi, Jason and other I hope are tuning in.

We traded a couple of discussion replies in July about bags.

Have you or anyone else come across bags that are either recyclable or biodegradable, but hopefully both?

The national vendors have poly-lined bags and glassine-lined bags. Glassine is a wood-based product, so those bags are recyclable and biodegradable, right? (Traditional poly-lined are out of the question, as are PLA-lined bags.)

Finally, what are the opinions out there about whether glassine-lined bags are appropriate for shipping coffee, presuming the customer uses the beans within a few weeks, freezes the unused beans or puts them in an air-tight container?

If you or anyone knows of any resources, I'd love to have them.

Best,

MA
