Just bought a used Mazzer SJ timer and want to convert to manual

So i picked up a really clean super jolly timer and would like to convert it to a manual. Do I just need to replace the main switch-on/off dial-or is there more to it? Also, when I got this grinder, the two screws that hold this switch to the body had washers that raise the screw heads high enough that they interfere with the plastic dial so that it won't seat down completely on the switch post-what to do?
Thanks!
Phil

You can get a rotary switch without the timer. It is a simple on/off. The washers shouldn't cause a problem. The knob doesn't need to be pressed all the way down. Even without the washers if you push the switch all the way down it will still rub against the screw heads. Just lift if off the face a little. If the knob is loose then it is just worn and time for a new one. Let me know if you want to replace the switch. I can get you the part number and/or send you one.

Thanks,
Mike
Simple job. One out - one in. If you are stuck I have some of the manual switches here in my stock and can send. Damian.
While you have it apart, you might consider replacing the existing switch screws with slightly shorter ones that won't require that many washers. Just match the threads and get the next length down. Or you can just ignore it.
thanks for the tips-I'll let you know how it all works out!
I just did this to one of our at my shop. It is as easy as replacing the switch I paid $43 for my standard on off switch
Where did you source your $43 Mazzer on/off switch?
