hi all,

I just have a number of questions about a possible coffee shop opening:

I have found a perfect retail space but it was previously a card shop - it does have a kitchen on the second floor which is fine as i don't plan to do any hot food. However, i do plan to make all sandwiches fresh on-site each morning. free game mobile download

THE QUESTION:

1) Since this was a card shop do i need any planning, approval or licenses to convert into a coffee shop?

2) Once open does a coffee shop need any licenses and what's the average cost of these?

3) In order to play music and possibly live acoustic bands do i need any licenses or permits since this wont be after 9pm?

Thanks for any advice

Most of these questions are going to depend on the city/county regulations wherever you are.

Contact the health department of the city you're going to be located in. They will have all kinds of rules for you. Have fun and good luck.
