Got the new website up: http://www.roys-station.com in time for the weekend premier. My son Miles, the website-guru, got Barefoot to "glow" when you pass over the text.
Hey Andy,
I actually haven't started the new gig yet! I took a month off and I'm actually finishing up with a vacation out in the wilderness starting today-- as soon as I get myself off the computer. I'll be starting up with Atlantic on October 6.
Hope you're well!
Bah! How could I freak you out? You're from California!
Roasting is kicking ass, I love my roaster and location, but it's time to get a bigger roaster, a larger roasting location and hire some staff for said location.
Do you ever get up to the northwest?

It was great seeing you again too. And your wife is so cool! How'd you trick her into marrying you? ;)
See you soon, I'm sure.

Hey..when your street dozen bounced last night they left half filled french presses and broken cap cups all over my living room floor.

Thanks very much Andy for your comment. I feel proud that our country is starting to retake an industry that went a bit down during the civil war. I had the opportunity to be in this year at the World barista championship and felt very proud that a taster of our country won the 2nd place and I feel even happier to see that Salvadorans are starting to understand that, living in a country where this is the #1 product of exportation, they should know more about the product and enjoy the good quality of our local products. Visiting DK now, I can see how our coffee is starting to be known and gain some space here, in different coffee's quality shops.....I don't work directly with Coffee, but I am learning as much as I can from techniques, milk, etc. to prepare a very good capuccino, espresso and my own combinations :). Have a good day !
The U is close! We should be complete middle of next week (Barring any delays, which never really happen in construction) Looking forward to another visit from some Barefootians.

DEWDDD!! I haven't been on this crazy thing known as the Barista EXX in soooooo long! I apologize for my lack of attention. School kicked my sorry ass all summer...
Things here are as they always are. Trying to keep positive and keep the pressure up for quality in our beverage delivery. Got a new shift lead named Wendy. Really cool chic. Works hard and is coming along nicely.
Aaaaaaand, I got your guys' latest email. Totally wish I could be there for the free cappuccinos...mmmm...capp-licious! I hate that I'm so far away. I have to figure out a way to make a trip out there to check out your roasting plant...Really hating the fact that I'm missing out on having some deep philosophical discussions with a gorilla. :(
Just out of curiosity, how would I get my hands on one of those new shirts you mentioned?
Anyway, much love and hope you all have a great month!
