David, I'm trying to arrange a cross country bicycling and coffee adventure. I'm planning to include coffee kids in my plans [raising money] but I'm kind of interested in including Bikes for Rwanda in my plans, too. I think you know something about that organization. Tell me something. Also, do you think CCC might be interested in sponsoring me? I'm going to do a website, a blog, a short documentary, etc etc. It could be good exposure for ya'll. Your BX points are waining, dude. Don't let this begin to translate to your personal cool points- could be bad.
i have some family in Atlanta. I told them how i am new to the coffee industry and they were telling me about your place. From what they were emoting in my ear over the phone, it sounds like you guys got a nice shop down there.
Keep it up, hopefully i can drop in and grab a cup a joe when i head that way for family stuff.
It has been a couple weeks. I'm actually gonna try to bring a couple friends to the cupping on the 18th. Maybe we'll have some time to talk afterwards.
Thank you for your comment to me! I was surprised at your excellent japanese !!
We don't roast beans, we buy beans (Austararia Single Origin thay called "Boomerang") from Australia Mountaintop Coffee Company.

Well, he's decided to go organic. Though making this switch is a step in the right direction, he's staying with Dillano's and simply changing from their conventional beans to their organic beans. I have to say, when you roast the beans to a blackened mess they taste about the same whether they're covered in pesticides or not. But I'm definitely thanking the coffee gods for small blessings.
How are the cuppings going?
We weathered the storms fairly ok. The first one hit right in the middle of the Octane party on Friday night and the second during the Saturday James Hoffmann event. On both occasions, the actual tornado missed us, but we did see some rather huge hail, lightning, etc.
