I love home coffee roasting. I have 2 Fresh Roast Plus 8 machines that I use on the week-end. I sell green coffee beans to other home roasters but I use a lot for my own consumption. Last week I roasted Costa Rican 'el tigre'. It was a nice smooth coffee and tasted delicious. This week-end I tried Tanzania Ruvuma but I haven't tried it yet.

Ambex is a nice machine. I roast coffee at home so I don't have a commercial roaster. I sell green beans to other home roasters a Fresh Roast Plus 8 is a very small machine. I recently bought a drum that goes on my BBQ and can roast a whole pound. I love trying different coffee.

You probably are a better roaster than I am, but I started to roast in a locally made roaster that is very difficult to use but it helped me develop my skills. Due to volume, we now roast in an Ambex, and results for our great coffee are excellent. Rowster Newsletter describes our coffee the most versatile for roast levels.
