I work at The Undertown Coffee Bar in Port Townsend. We serve delicious Stumptown Coffee. I am being trained by Joe Ruth who has a passion for coffee like no one I've ever met before and Matt from Stumptown who is a wonderful teacher.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Seattle, Europe, Panama.
I've been in the service industry for 23 years. I've worked a couple of fun coffee shops in my time but never with the quality that I'm doing now. I'm still a newbie in the barista world and eager to learn more.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The flavors, all the different wonderful flavors, using the nose and taste buds to find the notes has opened up a secret language of where the bean comes from and how it was made.
