What is your position in the coffee industry?
coffee roaster, coffee enthusiast, industry professional, service tech/repair, entrepreneur
Where are you located? ( City and Country )
Charleston, SC, & Waialua, Hi
How many years have you been in the industry?
9 Years
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
no
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My main talent is that Im a Master Chimney Sweep at heart,
My talents lay in the mechanics of roasting and roasters.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Most of USA, Korea, Japan, Australia, Europe and South America.
About Me:
As a Master Chimney Sweep/Mason, I have been involved with many projects over the span of my career, witnessed a lot of different designs and venting practices that still make me scratch my head, but, when 3 roasters caught fire in the last 2 years locally, and over 1800 nationally, it raises my awareness as an advocate for fire safety to submit change for this part of the industry and bring the maintenance back to the coffee roasters where it belongs and where they can institute their own cleaning schedules depending on volume and need.

Better regulated roasting of quality beans and a more consistent flavor.
• Safer venting practices resulting in reduced chimney fires and mishaps due to infrequent cleanings.
• Reduced downtime means more production time.
And that puts money back in your pocket.
About My Company:
Chimney Dragon – Iron Chamber Tools was born out of necessity for a need in the maintenance and cleaning of commercial coffee roasters 10 K and above. It was 2006 when as a chimney sweep, I started noticing the tool boxes of most coffee roasters lacked sufficient tools to clean the roasters venting, fresh air basket and drum cavity areas that collect the most by products like chaff, coffee pollen and moisture laden coffee creosote.

So, this year, starting July 15, 2011. Chimney Dragon – Iron Chamber Tools: For Coffee Roasters, went live and became an operational part of the Coffee Roasting Community by debuting in " Roast Magazine" - Sept-Oct. Issue 2011, We look forward to working alongside all of our Coffee Roasting Warriors when it comes to the maintenance and cleaning of their equipment. If you have any questions concerning the specialty tools or the cleaning of your roasters, please feel free to contact the Iron Chamber, we are here for you.

Thank you for stopping by,

Respectfully,

Ashley D. Webster
