Thanks guys! This is a latte that was the brainchild of Brian Freire, that ugly mug next to me :) He played around and got it clear back in 2005. He was competing in Millrock competition at CoffeeFest around that time. I always liked this one, and just found an old pic of it. He was in Italy for the last few years, but now we're here in Portland. I should catch him on the machine someday and have him do a short video. Really just two rosettas superimposed. Then a slight touch for the eye/mouth.
