this is our new C1, our CS2 is also giving us trouble... when we push the button for double short shot it spews behind the panel back of the portafilter area.

Roberto,
Nuova Simonelli was the brand I had really wanted to go with. It was the one we enjoyed most at ABCS. When we were told that the Coffeestuff was also made in Italy (as a La Pavonni look alike) and that our cafe-N-a crates would come with 2 Compak K-10 conical grinders each we felt it was a great deal. We purchased a CS1 crate and a CS2 crate.
We have not received the grinders and they are trying to tell me they never even carried them even though I have emails that clearly sold them to me. We are still having water leaks from the water softener too. All the small ware items are cheap quality made in China (none of that was reveled to us before). They have had our money and our order for two years while we renovated... plenty of time to fulfill the order yet we are here half a week away from our OJT training date.
Crossroads/ CoffeeStuff is worse then our experiences with Coffee Prophets but not as bad as what we are going through with Millrock (I still have to call them though).

I can not in good conscience recommend any of those companies.

If it weren't for so many wonderful folks on here I'd have lost my faith in the specialty coffee industry right along with all the money and time that we've lost!

We were told they were made in Italy... was that just another one of the many lies told to us?

Hi Denise,

That should not happen. A top quality machine should have a lifetime warranty on the boiler. I think those are made in China so unfortunately the level of experience if the manufacturer is very low. If you need help i will get you some machines at a very low price.
