The dream coat was cool, now it's shane's on main. It's nicer there now, but don't go there for the coffee... We've got a little baby operation here. Nuova Simonelli with Lavazza beans. I do what I can with what they give me.

Sweet, I grew up in Stillwater. Back in the day when there was the dream coat cafe. What kind of machine and what kind of beans are you running over there. I write for a website called The Heavy Table, I would love to write a review on your place sometime. As for the Sheep I usually roast Wed. nights. The MN coffee industry is small, but fun.

Black Sheep Coffee Cafe is gearing up our roasting program. We're starting daily cuppings- call or email to join in... I'll be hosting a cupping of samples from the CoE El Salvador this week- Very exciting. I'm also pleased to announce Paradise Roasters, Black Sheep, and Kopplin's will be hosting a Barista Jam at Cafe Imports ASAP. Stay tuned for details.

Hello all,
This is Kevin Selig of Upper Midwest Gourmet in Minneapolis. I have finally set a date for another Barista Jam to be held at our Facility here in Minneapolis.
The date is Thursday, April 17th from 10 am to 2 pm (ish). Lunch, treats and drinks will be provided. I will have 2 very awesome espresso machines to work with and show off your stuff. This time around there is no scheduled competition, but I will not stop and friendliness going on! I hope you will come ready to share, showoff, learn and make new friends. I will also have some local industry experts on hand to draw from and ask questions of. I hope to hold the number to 25 or less to keep it intimate and manageable.
Thanks to many of you in this group for requesting a jam to be held in this area. I would love to fill this up fast so we can have another one soon after for the overflow members.

If you can make this event, please RVSP soon to this message as I feel that this will fill up fast. Include the number of staff from your group (please keep it to a max of 4) and your contact info so I can get back to you to let you know if you are in or out this time around.
Thanks again to all in this group for your sharing, passion and down right coolness. Make sure to invite your friends to join as well and feel free to post subjects related to the industry and especially this region.
