About two years ago when I was setting up my first big roaster I looked into an afterburner. Not easy to find so I looked into building one. I was surprised to find the plans and also surprised to find it not that difficult to do. Now to be clear I did not build it because I did not need to with our current city ordinance. I have a background in metal fabrication so my comments here are from my knowing that I could built this myself. Now if I was like you with a serious need I might find a metal fab guy that could put this together for you.
Just my few pennies for you,
Joe
