I am trying to find this part, so far the only place I have found is Espressoparts.com. I only need the hood (The part is available as a complete entity for about 100 bucks, I just need the hood. So is the above mentioned part the right one?? Oh I have a Rancilio Epoca DE 2GP.

I've only seen flowmeters sold as a whole. The guys at espresso parts might just answer the phone and tell you if its fits your Rancillio. I've had good luck calling them with questions, and they usually seem nice on the phone.
Thinking that you are talking about the cap that screws on to the top of the flowmeter (the part that has the terminals and green light). That is sold separately, the part number that the Rancilio guys gave me last week for just the cap and gasket (for the Classe 6, should be the same on Epoca) was 10-705-000. List is $70.65. However they were out of this part so they sent me the whole flowmeter assembly instead (which I believe is 10-705-126). Not sure whether they will stock just the cap in the future or not.

If you go to the Rancilio website www.rancilio.com and click on the "downloads" tab at the top, you can find drawings and parts breakdowns. Helpful for figuring out exactly which part number you need. Much of this info is also available from EP...

Good luck.
cma and lm's can be purchased as separate like the meter housing which never needs replaced and the field sensor which may have issues every so often check the impeller itself as well. but as for a rancillio I've no idea.
