I won't be able to say enough how proud I am to be in a region of such great coffee professionals. From the people putting it on, the the baristas throwing it down, an amazing event I was honored to be a part of. Just amazing, and what a great group of baristas. I am proud of all, especially Danielle. She worked her butt off for it. But what I really want to know is, Where in the heck was Lem Butler????

Good morning all!

I want to let everybody know that the SCAA will also be conducting a skill building workshop the same weekend as the Southeast Regional Barista Competition (SERBC). http://members.scaa.org/train/rbc/southeast/default.aspx If you have baristas who may not be ready to compete but have a passion for what they do, I would recommend signing them up for the workshop. Both events will be conducted at the same location, just different buildings.

This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills as a true coffee professional.
