Event Description

This Saturday the 29th all Seattle baristas are invited to Victrola Coffee Roasters to compete for spots in the Seattle vs LA Latte Art Smackdown happening in September.

This event is a qualifying round so we've tried to accommodate as many pours as possible so everyone has a chance. The top 10 scoring baristas will move on to finals.

Signups will be taken at the event so make sure you get there promptly at 7pm to reserve a spot.

$10 gets you in & top barista takes the pot!

Here's the results for the Seattle Qualifying round! We had 32 competitors show up and narrowed it down to 10:

Winner Chuck Lambert #7 - Victrola Coffee - not only won the tournament but also got the highest score of anyone with 84.25

Nick Harberg #23 - Zoka Coffee & Tea 82.5


Michael Lewis #1 - Victrola - 82

Laila Ghambari #13 - Urban Coffee Lounge - 78.25

Alex Negranza #27 - Why Not Coffee - 78

Tom Pikaart #4 - Tougo - 78

Stephen Robinson #24 - Victrola - 76

Jeremy McDermott #2 - Victrola - 76

Kelleen Blanchard #3 - Victrola - 75

We set the event up to be judged blind on Flickr - Judges just saw photos with numbers. Our judges were Shawn Hardison - Victrola Coffee, Brandon McMahon - Fonte Coffee, and Louie Poure - Zoka Coffee
