Lorenzo Perkins, South Central Barista Competition champion will be driving up from Cafe Medici in Austin to talk about competition, and shed some light on what it takes to compete in the Barista competition

David Buehrer, Board member of the BGA (Barista Guild of America) and owner of Greenway Coffee in Houston will be driving up to discuss the SCAA event in Houston this year April 28th - May 1st, and what it means for the Texas coffee scene, as well as useful information about volunteering at the SCAA event to get into coffee classes for free.

Latte art throw down will be done Tournament style, two baristas will go head to head, and the barista with the best art will continue to the next round. Anyone can compete, $10 entry fee will be required. with the first place winner taking the cash "pool" 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive a coffee related donation (TBD)
