While I was impressed to see you offering your expertise to Fox, it frustrates me to listen to the "fast talk media" when they investigate specialty coffee. There's a huge gap, on the media's part, in that they have no foundation of knowledge when it comes to coffee. Their questions can't always be answered, because the question makes little or no sense. When the discussion ventures into the area of "quality", they have no decent reference. In fact, like most of the coffee consuming public, their reference for quality, at best, revolves around one adjective; "bitter." And since most only visit franchise locations, their detailed quality reference revolves around the addition of one adverb; "how bitter?" I would love to see you chat with them after they've spent a couple days at your school. Maybe then the questions would make more sense and be more relevant.

Nice job Matt!
Man, fox business is kind of a joke. I mean it's fox after all. I can't believe the guy just was concerned on price. Commodity coffee tanked the industry in the first place! Plus it is just common sense that between low cost competitors, a few cents will not make the difference. Taste will. While I doubt any of the 3 have anything tasting "good" by our standards, clearly the one that tastes best to Joe coffeedrinker will win out. Price is only gonna be 3rd to taste and convenience. Although I hate it, I'm betting on McDonalds. Too bad they didn't let you talk more, you actually have something good to say.
