Although US coffee chain Starbucks is in the process of closing stores amid an economic slowdown, some independent operators are hoping that rare and expensive brews may be the key to business success.

You know... living in the country where this coffee originates, I have on ethical principles avoided selling or trading in Kopi Luwak (read my famous Reuters comment where I was quoted as saying "its like a circus"...I was ahem somewhat misquoted but I digress...).
