I spent years in banking — building teams, leading institutions, and doing work that looked meaningful from the outside. It was, in many ways. But somewhere along the way, something quieter got lost.
Julie saw it before I could put words to it. She has always had a gift for noticing beauty, warmth, and intention — and for asking the harder question of why we were doing any of it in the first place.
Moonfly was born out of those conversations.
A moonfly is a Southern word for a firefly — the quiet kind you notice on warm nights when the noise finally fades. That image stayed with us. It became the foundation of everything we’re building.
Moonfly Coffee Co. is a mobile specialty coffee company launching in Atlanta in June 2025. We operate branded Outpost trailers at corporate campuses, community events, and neighborhood gatherings. But more than that, we’re building a company that develops people — creating real career pathways for individuals who are ready to grow into responsibility and leadership.
We believe work should be dignified. We believe small things done with care can bring real light into everyday life. And we believe the right team — humble, driven, and purposeful — can build something that lasts.
