I never got a chance to catch you in Anaheim, but I did watch your first round performance and was happy to see you advance! You did a great job and I heard murmurs that the sig drink was delicious. I wanted to try it.
Hey, man. Our shop fell through so Megan and I switched our focus to roasting. Jamin and Amanda helped us pick oot some nice greens and, BAM!, we got our first farmers' market thing this Saturday. We're focusing on Farmers' Markets and home delivery (via web sales).
It was sad to hear that you left the Minnesota; your talents will be missed. I am sure that our paths will cross again. Let me know where I can find you behind the bar, I am always looking for a reason to go to Seattle.
Hi Andrew,
I am working on an article for Twin Cities Imbiber and have a few questions about your performance at the USBC. The article will feature you and the two other Minnesota baristas that competed; Adam Palmer and Peter Middlecamp. I remember your performance (especially the taste of the S.O. espresso), but need to know a few specifics. Send me the following when you have a chance. Thanks.
1. The name of your signature drink.
2. Description of your signature drink and the origins of the idea.
3. The espresso that was used.
4. The amount of time you spent training and the a short description of how you trained.
5. Other competition appearances.
6. Anything else about how you felt about the competition this year or how you felt about your performance.
I am sure you will see me around Kopplin's in the near future, I recently moved back to the twin cities.
Yes, long time indeed. I have been spending some time in Lincoln, NE, learning to roast coffee and then am off on a tour de force of the west (attempting to find a warm place to call home). What have you been up to? How is the home of the Twin Cities going?
Hi Andrew:
Hey we are having a showcase of local hometown talent at our booth #1406- I wanted to make sure I asked you ( I do not your email)- if you might want to come by an work on a GS3, or showcase a signature drink- but I understand if you are totally wiped with the USBC. Let me know.. thanks
Gina
Hope your wrist/hand is holding out!
I hope they break the news about Clover to Kopplin softly. Maybe have a nice cup of french press prepared for him to sip while taking it all in...
I saw it coming but DAMN Schultz moves quick!
hey, definitely good to meet you, too. i'm thinking about putting together a trip towards your area code for 'z' usbc. more on this to come, but in the meantime, having fun practicing and selling $20 joe.
