matt, what's going on? going to be moving from daytona hopefully soon. apparently it's not the hip place it used to be back in the day. daytona is kind of a run down area now. looking at places port orange, its' nice and income levels, etc are better. just curious about what other coffee shops are getting these days in terms of rent deals. also what should an average coffee shop get in sales per day. any suggestions? thanks for the help, ciao

hey matt, love the site but could we get a little stronger moderation on where topics are supposed to be posted? i get so aggravated at having to comb through the detritus on the "barista exchanges and travel" forum to find anything relevant to actually exchanging baristi. i think lazy people just post there cause it's the first forum. thanks bro

Well, it must be fate... because a finalist from our region dropped out, (as opposed to another wildcard,) they go to the next highest score. Rob will be competing at the Canadians! Any chance you can make it to Van for the show?

Good to meet you and your wife the other day. Sorry I had to duck out early but I'm sure we'll meet again. I thought you might like an update since they did the wildcard draw. Robs name did not get pulled which kind of stings since he will end up with a better score than over half the field in the Canadians. Oh well. Try again next year.
everything is SOOO great! We're slammed every day and really haven't started advertisements yet! I haven't even put up our "now open" sign because if we get anyone else we would explode! I will save it for our next location- hope all is well on your side of the country and am still gunning to get to Coffeefest in Seatle!
