Hey Tim, love to hear how things go. We are doing a dedicated kid's area as well. Anytime I mention what we are doing, the parents can't wait! We will be going for quality coffee for mom and dad and some fun stuff for the little ones..I wish I was around sooner! Best of luck with everything, I'd love to see some pics of your place if you have any on your website. Have fun with number two - wow is it busy!! Yay for coffee!!
Hey Tim,
30's here too, with my own 2 kids...it just made sense to me. Love the Sunday morning music idea. I'm also thinking of possible children's authors coming in etc. I don't want to drive away the "non parents" so the kid's stuff can't be too over the top- not the disney store with coffee. Are you open now and doing the kid's thing?
all is well. I just got back from my westerly vacations. Had some MAD(D) crazy coffee, got to hang to pick Lizz Hudson's brain, and get some awesomely served capps via Billy Wilson and the NW Coffeehouse crew. Checked out a lot of stumptown stuff while out there. If you haven't had the Honduras Finca El Puente yet...get it.
Tim, good to hear from you. How soon till opening?
Philly trips are few and far between, but I heard a rumor that the only folks who have put in for sponsoring/hosting the MARBC are in Princeton, so we'd be out east for that.
Even after six years here, it's still hard to comprehend that Philly is a longer trip than DC, Baltimore, Detroit, Cincy or Toronto. Pittsburgh should be in the Midwest region!

Matt's good people. Dude, plays bass like a mofo and gets very excited about good coffee.
Stumptown, eh? Good luck with that. I hear Hairbender goes well with scrapple '-)
You guys sending anyone out here for the MARBCs?
Yep, We have a new baby boy- Hunter M. Noble. He's a healthy 9 lb., and really enjoys his eating and sleeping.
Just like the old man!
