Hey, about the hats... They are a limited run and we are asking for a $75.00 donation that goes to the Southern Tier AIDS Project. A bunch of us are doing a 100 mile bike ride to raise money including a few of us from Gimme!. If you are interested we can set up shipping schedule. Cheers!

Oh really?! I didn't know that you get to warm up and set the grind!! That's pretty cool. I have some pretty serious tremors myself! I hope once I pour something I don't fuck it up myself. Imma have something with me to pour out for the homies!
Thank you very much man. I still haven't poured no 7 rosettas though! Dude, 5 minutes to pour three drinks? I dunno if I can warm up that quick. As you saw from those pictures, my first few show I wasn't comfortable... I'm hopin' I don't choke either. There is a former co-worker of mine April Pollard that is in the competition as well. She just started working for Stumptown, she's definitely someone that I am looking out for...
Yes under the lid they are very similar. The Adonis has some added technology like the air blanket over the group head. The steam valves on the Adonis are twisters but use the Aurelias reliable push rod valve. We will have a few at some top roasters booths at Coffee Fest.
The WBC vetting process has been very long and actually started before the introduction of the Adonis. The technology is similar with the Adonis having a much more sofisticated and expensive body work.
Also the Adonis is currently only available in the plus version while the Aurelia for WBC is a semiautomatic. RB
Hey Mike, how are you. Actually this machines are a little expensive due especially to the exchange with the euro. Write me a line if you know somebody that would be willing to spend about $5000 fo one of these machines!!!
My sincere pleasure and thank you! I too hope to meet you at Coffee Fest. You should drop by Vivace too! The Reggae trip was amazing! I havn't had time yet to just sit and give all the names and happenings. I'm hooked on Reggae Festivals now! Anyway, I'm happy to meet you!
You should comment on the blog something to that effect. I have had no less than three e-mails of people saying and thinking the same thing, but nobody is willing to put their finger on the table and say it.
The whole "fitting in" thing is another deal. I think this is a major "conceptual flaw" in the Third Wave thinking. Remember, Third Wave is all about "the coffee." It doesn't matter if the Third Waver is a bum off the street, the President of the USA, a lawyer from LA (Marshall), a truck driver from N.C, or a Baptist Preacher reading his Bible in a cafe. It is about the coffee, not the people.
