Hey man,
I hope things are alright for you. I had some of your La Paz, it had great graham cracker-like sweetness, very impressed. It was way better that Daryn's living room crop.
Byron, I was just reading through some of my old discussions when I saw you had responded to one about visiting farms and had extended an invitation to your farm in DR. While it's probably too late for this year, I was hoping that I might take a flight to visit in the not so distant future.
hola byron, como tu 'ta? your background is fascinating. i would love to check in on your blog and see where you end up specializing. where are you in dr? i've studied/worked/traveled thru dr several times, mostly in santiago; it's a place very close to my heart. cuidate muchacho...

Hi Byron
I am a coffee farmer in South Africa. To my knowledge acidity is a factor of soil and climate, and less cultivar. Most importantly its a factor of fruit development.

Hi Byron,
Welcome to Barista Exchange!
I´m working in a non-profit venture to promote the consumption of specialty grade coffees and the barista profession. The first stage, involves a overland trip through the american coffee growing countries, and I´m planning to visit Dominican Republic.
I would be very grateful if you could help me to plan the logistics for my trip.
