Hi Ben! That's not my heart. I think that it's what they give you when you don't have a picture yet. I'm going to join your group but I did like the first name better...it had more character. I'm excited for you to go to USBC. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you or for Ellia and Elizabeth!!
I just came across a little note on the corner of a post-it that said "Call Benjamin in CT" and I thought...oh crap!...I haven't called him yet! Please forgive me!
How is everything going with the growing fam and the new shop?
Things are great here. Dillanos was the official host of the NWRBC and I had the opportunity to judge. What an awesome experience!
I will definitely give you a call next week so we can catch up more.
I just had to comment back....I would be trying to decide what grinders, coffee and such to use, but in answer to your to your question, my budget is basically a couple hundred. Crazy, huh?!!!
I came into an existing thing which fortunately already had a stellar machine, unfortunately, wasn't well cared for and had blockage. Fortunately, I had someone donate services to fix it. So, I am getting most things donated, trying, and therefore cannot be very picky, you know? Its kinda of fun this way, for example, a friend gave me an old left handed grinder....its fun to use....

Hey Ben, thanks for the note! What is the new gig? I will definitely look you up if in get to New Haven. You competing in Feb?
Hello Benjamin,
Excited to hear you're coming to Pittsburgh! It should be some fun. I'm not competing but I think Frank is representing for our fam. Which, congrats on your sweet little baby. Can't wait to meet the newest future coffee geek (from the looks of the pictures).
I'm not working behind the bar at Aldo anymore, but still doing a little training. I got a job with Youth for Christ starting an after school cafe and hang out space in Downtown Pittsburgh. I' love it so far, but we're planning our kickoff in January. WE'll see how it goes.
I guess I better update my info on this page....maybe tomorrow.
Thanks for saying hi. See you in Feb.
