I'll call after Thanksgiving.
Just got back from Diedrich in IDaho - taking some courses for the new roaster. It arrives in early December.
What are you up to?
Nice to see you and your lovely companion today.
The "Slayer" looks like a beautiful piece of work to play with.
Give me a heads up when the first one goes in,
I'd be chuffed to help you Christen it.
Hey JP. HOw goes?
Very nice pictures you got!
Know anyone who wants a CLOVER?
I got a sweet Mirage Espresso machine coming in soon. You should pop by and check it out.
Cheers
Hey JP what's up? Hope you had fun at Rio Negro. I just got on to BX and checking it out. How are things in BC? I just put up some photos from Jardin and will put up some of La Minita. Talk to you later
Jim
Hey J.P. i am guessing Canada will be there, so it would be a good excuse to pop down and to support your team. Also...kiwi coffee (and cafe) culture is legendary. It would be a great chance to combine work and play. If... you timed your Ethiopian trip right, Emirates flies daily from Dubai via Sydney down to Auckland...
J.P. - I use a standard brew ratio of 3.75 oz coffee per 60 fl-oz. water I broke it out into grams and it equates to about 1.64 grams per 1 fl-oz. If you don's have a scale you can estimate about 1 tbsp per 5 fl-oz of water. I use a med fine grind for the coffee and brew as follows:
1. boil water
2. grind coffee fresh
3. add to coffee to filter, pour enough water (right off boil ~200-205 degrees) in to wet grinds and wait 5-10 sec for bloom.
4. add rest of water
5. stir grounds in filter
6. when fully brewed serve immediately or out into a thermal carafe
I hope this helps. Cheers

& am gonna soon buy a simonelli, what u think.....
I called your office today and asked about PacSoy but the person on the phone couldn't find it on your product list. She seemed pretty flustered when I called; said she was filling in. I was going to call you but it got busy.
Send me a case when the sleeves come out this week - and it doesn't have to be a sample, bill me for it.
Thanks,
