Yeah, the competition is February 7-8 and it's in Cranberry. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get off work to go and watch it and get some tips, but if I'm off I'm definitely going if I can find a ride.
Yes it worked out very well - I'm running the Mon, Thurs and Fri morning shift.
My new project is writing the operations manual for the company. Good times fueled by lots of coffee. Oh, and did you hear the lastest news from Maine? A topless coffeeshop is coming to Vassalboro. This town has about 4.000 people in it. Talk about a "work hazard".
I have my cosmic cup thermal on today and love it! People are asking questions!!
Oh and old people dont tear their biceps lifting weights, sorry. That's a manly injury!
hey...Mike came by your shop today while out on some travels...brought back some groovy tshirts and some great coffee! He was impressed with your staff, said theyknow their coffee stuff....good job. Hope you're welll. We're ice covered at the moment.
Hey! Your like my third request, which means people notice me...this makes me happy. ...yay... And your photo rocks. I know a lot of folk up in PA some likelyhood of me getting up there one day is pretty good. I'm seeing a lot of mentioning of bikes and tats. That's a plus. Altered tattoo coffee = life blood. I've been moving packing and working for two weeks semi sucessfully... sorry if this is only mildly coherentl
Did you hear Steve Morissey and Ellie Matuszak are doing a intense barista training at the Urnex headquarters in Yonkers, NY on January 5. It's primarily geared for people who are looking to compete in the competitions and there is a cost for attendance but if you want some more info. I'll be glad to pass it on.
Hey Troy, How was the parade?
I had Halloween duty, and a meeting with the electrician- Town Hall Coffee comes first, even to 4 million drunk Philadelphians.
Shop's moving forward... Hope to get up there again to see you guys soon.
I am coming to visit your shop on November 5th (wednesday), i think. I'm going to visit vegan treats bakery in bethlehem, and i just realized you're only 20 mins from there! yay!
I got your message from Jay at the competition! Thanks for thinking of me :)
I placed 7th, went overtime by 17seconds, and tried my very best. I was proud of what I did and it'll only get better from here.
It was a very west coast heavy final, but I tell ya, the East is picking up strength :)
