Mike-
I was just on the Big Island today shooting a program segment. Had a decent enough cappuccino at Kona Mountain Coffee on Kaahumanu Highway, but I didn't try other coffee shops since we were there just for the day. What part of the island are you planning on living?
Hi Mike,
My plants are doing pretty well. Our restaurant is open now and if you look at our almost finished website you can see photos at elquetzaldemindo.com. I would love to have visitors! I am also a long time member of the Sweet Maria's homeroasters list and last week had a visit from one of the members of that list. It would be fun to take people on tours of the other end of coffee that is growing, processing the beans and roasting if they haven't seen that before. I am leaving for the States on Tuesday and haven't set the date for my return yet. If you are serious about visiting here I am hoping that you will plan a trip while I am here. I would love to have a pro teach me how to make excellent espresso, and how to froth milk well, etc. Oh and yes it is raining, but we've had lots of sun each day. So much that the locals complain that it is too much sun. Thanks for contacting me and I'll let you know when I will be back in Mindo as soon as I know.
hey there! glad you stopped by Stickman the other day! hope you're enjoying some nice, sunny weather! :0) yes, we no longer have the Clover here, but the choice was made solely because a brewing station is about as manual as you can get. we like to have a lot of control over our coffee :0)
