The library espresso bar is doing well. Though I'm starting to wonder if we're really seeing a downturn because of the economy of just a late summer/early fall historical slump.
Still working on finding and negotiating a new (second) place. Close, but until the lease is signed and the check cashed, you never know.

It's a hand-tinted photo dated 1938, building is circa 1935. In the '20's, the corner was operated by Kitazawa Seed Co., who is still in business up in Berkeley. We've found a 1950's gas pump that we're having restored. Can't place it back on the island because the seismic cross-bracing is in the way. The 1956 Cavalier Coke Machine will be returned though. A restored original that always sat on the corner. We're thinking that the FB/80 red will match the old Coke Machine's red. Whaddya think?

Good to hear from you! I've been working, traveling and enjoying life away from the SCAA and committee work. I've found business life to be much more rewarding away from the SCAA, committees and online forums.

Tony and your boys from barefoot dropped by some of the El Sal Finca 408. That coffee is damn sexy. Incredibly sweet and juicy, ripe peaches. delicious.
