Hi Frank,
Yes I'm very much looking forward to the Jam. I check my page about once a week...glad to be friends here. It was great to judge with you (3 out of 3 flights, right?)! See you in Atlanta?
I think everything (except some sponsorship stuff) is all settled and it feels great. We're going to get in Wednesday night because we need to be there for calibration on Thursday. Josh said to give him a call when we get near St. Louis. And just send the list of beers and we'll bring them.
Frank it was great meeting all of you guys too. I will defintally keep you posted on my ETA to St. Louis. I printed a bunch of Choco. Wheels to bring to the comp for everyone. Super stoked to come out there and check out the St. Louie coffee scene.
I had to unfortunately cancel on the mountain. We are in the midst of hiring a new customer service person and between training them and everything else I can't leave in good conscience. I will be at the Western and the MW :)
Hey Frank- do you know of anyone who is interested in having me, Hugo, and another person from Allegro crash at their place for the MWRBC? We're going to come out and judge!

Good to hang with you again, even with all the pressure....see you out at the MWRBC!
Good meeting you too. Yes, I'm looking forward to cupping some of your coffees soon. Here's a like to the Coffee Review cupping calendar - http://www.coffeereview.com/calendar.cfm - It will be updated for 2009 sometime next week.
Yeah, it was great to hang out with you two. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing you guys again soon. Hope the baby was happy to see you on Saturday!
Likewise - I only wish there was more time for more beer and more conversation. Thanks again for putting together a stellar jam. I will be following your career as a preeminent judge... future plans are very hope-full here.
I'm still waiting to hear myself. I just wanted to make sure you threw your hat in even if you didn't have all the pre-req's. You just never know :) All you have to do now is what I'm doing....sit and wait :)
Hi Frank,
Great to hear from you. Yes, it's official - Kaldi's will be hosting the MWRBC. Which I'm THRILLED about. I'm still working out the details for the NERBC, but I will email you as soon as the details become concrete.
Frank, the rumors are true... Trish hired me full time as a barista for the crescent (an offer I couldn't refuse) this sat. is my last day at Graces...sad day. No more of those amazing omelets for me...I'm headed for crepe country.
And now back to apartment shopping, and the migraines that go with it.
The move went about as good as it could I guess. I will be up here for a couple of months by myself, then my family will be able to join me. My first day at Zoka is tomorrow. I will be blogging and taking pictures sometime soon if you are interested. Thanks for saying hey. Let me know how Dale is doing when you get a chance.
Haven't ever been to Starry nights, so I'm not sure. They use Coda coffee (Tim Thwaites was one of the judges at MRBC, don't know if you judged by them) and were probably trained well- just don't know if any of it would have stuck with her. Sorry that I don't know more...
