Just finished the nth lap of the rat race...not much work but I'm so dead tired already. Just the thought of being in a secluded area where every move is within arms length run by the policies and rules, which most often than not, are not agreeable to me, is... just... plain... boring... I want this to end. I want it now. Question. How?

Thanks for the advice. Telling someone to quit is easy but actually doing it is hard especially when you know a family depends on you, thinking you're losing this secured job, feeling the recession going on and everything, having that fear.

But I hear you. It's about time I step up and face this risks...this fear. Thanks!

Sounds like you're describing a cubicle job. You want it to end now and ask how? Simple, quit. If you want your situation to change, change it. Of course for every action there are consequences like possibly no paycheck.

You say in your profile you want to open a coffee shop. You also say you don't want to take risks. The former is highly unlikely to happen until your willingness to engage in the later changes. Risk is part and parcel to owning a business. Running a business is not for the faint of heart, there are no guarantees.
