Profile Information

What is your position in the coffee industry?
barista, coffee enthusiast
Where are you located? ( City and Country )
Magnums in North phoenix
How many years have you been in the industry?
2
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
i was trained by a few baristas and Randy who runs Scooters on tatum and Cavecreek. Randy trained me on traditional Italian coffee styles, and helped me to acheive beautifull latte art. Im used to working on a unic twin that needs some work but it gets the job done. I have increased coffee sales and the reputation of great coffee here at magnums, but i want to work in a real coffee house with a better machine and FRESH ROASTED BEANS! Dont get me wrong i love the Illy product but i cant seem to get the beautifull crema on an espresso shot like i can with fresh roasted beans. I spent a year getting my milk frothing skills up to par so that when you take that sip off a macchiato you melt into a puddle of heaven. I love drinking, making, serving, watching people drink my coffee, watching others make coffee..... you get the point.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I would love to travel the world.
About Me:
I live in north phoenix in a beautifull house with my roomate. I love making music and drawing. Ive been in phoenix for 5 or so years (time seems to blur away dosent it?). I grew up in Clovis New Mexico and moved out here to get some college done but that didnt work out so well, but im confident i'll get back to school and get my major.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The realization of coffee as an art and not just a beverage.
