Primarily in the area of roasting but also various brew methods, and shop management.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

None are off the table but a big part of my heart is in Africa/Middle East.

About Me:

I grew up in Nebraska, lived in Washington state for a year, just graduated from a school in Chicago, and now living in the Denver area pursing a master's. My father has always had a pot of coffee brewed, which is why I originally got hooked on it. He always had a high standard for his coffee and that's influenced me a lot (although I still can't get him to enjoy a light roast).

I'm very socially minded when it comes to any kind of business. I've traveled to many amazing parts of the world but would love to spend more time traveling throughout South America. Having visited many different cultures both internationally and domestic and now living in Denver, I'm very motivated to make a difference in the world through coffee from the beginning stages of farming, to consumption, and to the disposal of the coffee cup.

About My Company:

I'm in the planning stages of a direct trade coffee importer, whole sale, and roasting company. Any help and tips would be greatly appreciated.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The amazing variety and uniqueness of each coffee, which I believe reflects the uniqueness of each person
